Free Training Photography & Film Training Kicks off today

Today marked another milestone in our fight against #unemployment & #poverty among the #youths with our #Free#Photography & #Film #Training

The Training, which has both hands-on and classroom setting, is one of our various avenues of reaching out to communities and equip them to fight against poverty and unemployment especially among youths is a result of our call for the people to register.

The training which attracted a number of young people whose expertise ranges from beginners to intermediates in the field of photography and film, had it's qualification to attend as a mere registration by sending an email to our official address, info@irismission.org with "FREE TRAINING SESSION" as the subject.  This was intended to ascertain the number of youths who are both computer literate and can interpret and respond to instructions well. 

"It's unfortunate that most would-be attendees failed our registration test." said Saltray Lubega, the Programs Director.  "Some were calling, others just wrote on facebook, failing to meet our enrollment criteria but we have plans to cater for everyone, including computer literacy programs.  It'd just a matter of logistics before we roll out again," he added.

The training whose major advertising was on Social Media, especially Facebook was a great yard-stick towards our future empowerment programs especially among youths.
